Schools across the world, including over 150 in Illinois, will be participating in International Walk to School Day on Wednesday, October 3 to promote walking, biking, and other healthy living practices. Any school can host an event by holding a rally or assembly with fun and healthy activities. Organizing walking events to school, at school, or after school is the best way to participate. Magnet, charter, and private schools can still participate by having students walk together from a designated drop off location to the school.
