Chicago Cycling: What's Next?

In conjunction with the new exhibition, Bikes! The Green Revolution, the Nature Museum presents the AON Lecture Series: "Chicago Cycling: What's Next?". The audience will have the exclusive chance to hear from Chicago’s expert voices on the future of cycling in the city. Panelists will discuss the ways Chicago is becoming a more bike-friendly city, the impact of biking on the city and our environment, trends in urban transportation and ways in which biking connects people to Chicago’s rich nature.Come join in the dialogue!
The panel of experts include: Gabe Klein, Chicago Department of Transportation Commissioner, Danny Solis, Alderman 25th Ward, Jeff Kidder, professor at Northern Illinois University and author of Urban Flow, John Greenfield, founder of Grid Chicago, Eboni Senai Hawkins, founder of the Chicago chapter of Red Bike and Green and Steve Sullivan, Senior Curator of Urban Ecology at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. Greg Borzo, author of Where to Bike in Chicago: Best Biking in City and Suburbs, will moderate the panel. naturemuseum.org
