Wheel lacing is just weaving patterns, When you can understand how to look at symmetry in the evolving pattern then it is easy to lace a wheel. Tightening spoke nipples to make a wheel round, dish, and true all are about learning to see movement of the rim when you tighten or loosen a nipple.
